Cecil D. Raymond, 94, of Belding, entered the grace of our Lord on Wednesday
morning, Sept. 23, 2009, at Gratiot Medical Center in Alma.  Cecil was born June
29, 1915, in Lakeview, the son of Walter and Edna Griswold Raymond.  He retired
in 1977 after 23 years with General Tire in Ionia.

He was married on May 15, 1937, in Greenville to Margaret Miller and she
survives along with their children, Joan and Larry Link of Lowell, Gerald and
Patsy Raymond of Lake City, David and Bridget Raymond of Florida; 12
grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  He
was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Murrel and Walter; and one
sister, Gertrude.

Funeral services are 1 p.m. today at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding,
with Pastor Ken Harger officiating.  Interment will follow in River Ridge
Cemetery, Belding.  Visitation is one hour before the service.  Memorial
contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
