Rex L. Raymond of Ionia
Died Tuesday February 9, 2016 at Sparrow Ionia Hospital.
Born November 20, 1932 in Blanchard, son of Quinton and Gertrude Raymond.
Rex graduated from Belding High School in 1952 where he was active in band, 
FFA, and track, plus working on the family farm.
Was an Air Force veteran during Korean conflict stationed in Germany for 
three of the four years.
Worked for GTE Phone Company, retiring after a serious auto accident.
Rex enjoyed hiking, biking, flying and skiing.
He & his family attended Shiloh Community Church.
Married Betty McCracken on April 19, 1958 at Carson City, Mich.
Survived by his wife, Betty and Children: Dennis, & Janice Raymond of Ionia, 
John (Charity) of Freeport, Kevin (Freedom) of Ionia, his grandchildren; 
Abbigale, Braedyn, Samara & Aleutian. His siblings; Kay (Bud) Evans of Mesa, 
AZ., Ken (Nancy) Raymond of Ionia, & Sister-in-law Elsie Raymond of 
Greenville. His wife's siblings: Dinah McCracken, Margaret (Fred) Puffpaff 
and Phyllis Himebaugh.
Preceded in death by his parents, brother Lynn and brother's-in-law Don 
McCracken and Max Himebaugh.
Private family services will take place at Orleans Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Shiloh Community Church.
Envelopes available at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where funeral 
care has been entrusted.
