Elva Elizabeth Raymor, 79, of Lowell died April 28, 1996.  She was born Aug. 28,
1916 in Saranac, the daughter of Homer and Edith (Heether) Myers.  She married
Ellsworth (L.D.) Raymor Dec. 30, 1933 at the Nazarene Church of Lowell.  She
worked at Frank’s Five and Dime for 20 years and was a member of Blue Star Mother.

She is survived by two sons: Duane (Carrie) Raymor, of Conway, S.C. and Roger
(Norma) Raymor, of Lowell; four grandchildren: Samuel (Kelly) Raymor, of
Portland, Terry (Nancy) Raymor, of Lowell, Brian (Lennie) Raymor, of McLean, Va.
and Carrie (Ron) Metternick, of Lowell; many great-grandchildren;
brothers-in-law John (Alice) Raymor and Oliver Raymor; sisters-in-law Marie
Raymor and Isabel Edwards; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.  She was
preceded in death by her husband and one daughter.  

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Roth-Gerst Chapel in Lowell with
Rev. Brian Schneider-Thomas, of Alto United Methodist officiating.  Interment
will be in Saranac Cemetery and visitation will be today from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
and Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Memorial
contributions may be made to Helping Hands Hospice of Ionia.
