She was 25 years, nine months and six days old. She was a young lady well known and dearly loved by all, and her death came as a sudden shock to her friends and relatives., who will all greatly miss her. Her death was especially sad from the fact that the arrangements were being made for her marriage to occur in a few weeks. During her sickness she expressed a clear hope of the future state and said "I'm with Jesus Christ." The parents were deeply affected and while they feel her loss they hope to meet their loved one again in the Father's House. The funeral took place in the home on Sabbath afternoon at one o'clock, attended by the Lutheran minister and the United Brethren minister, who preached in German and English to a large concourse of people. The service all through was deeply sympathetic and seemed to make a most remarkable impression of the friends and all who attended. The sad feature about the service was, that the three sisters were brought for their sick beds to the room of death to pay their last respects to their dear sister, Ann; which brought fresh and copious tears to every eye. The many friends who manifested the purest sympathy with the bereaved parents and loved ones in their great loss. Her remains were taken to Lakeside Cemetery where she was laid to rest, through the last parting on earth was most bitter In this sad hour of their bereavement, the parents have the deepest sympathy of the entire community.
