All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/mi/mifiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Suanne Tasker stasker@cmsinter.net July 27, 2019, 2:20 pm Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, March 25, 1952 Charles Reasoner, 77, a life-long resident of Ionia County died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Kellogg, at Hyattsville, MD., Tuesday morning at 1 o'clock following a cerebral hemorrhage suffered the previous day. He was born in Saranac on August 30, 1874. He lived in Palo more than 20 years while teaching school there. He also taught at Clarksville and the Michigan reformatory. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Georgia McGown Reasoner, in 1946. His only survivor is his daughter. A past master of the Palo Masonic lodge, he conducted many Masonic burial rites throughout the county. The body will arrive in Ionia Thursday afternoon and will be taken to the Stone- Kauffman funeral home. It will remain there until 1 o'clock Friday afternoon when it will be taken to the Palo Methodist church for funeral services at 2:00. The Rev. Harold E. Home of Hubbardston will conduct the funeral services. Interment will be in the Palo Cemetery with Masonic burial rites conducted by Bert Fox of Ionia.
