The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, October 5, 1950
Word was received here Thursday morning of the death in Miami, Fla., of Leo H. 
Rector, a former resident of Ionia.  The funeral party left Miami for Ionia 
Thursday and will arrive here at 5:07 Saturday afternoon.  The body will 
repose at the Bradley funeral home, Rich and Lafayette streets.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 3 o’clock from the Bradley 
funeral home.  Interment will be in the family lot in Oak Hill cemetery.

Leo H. Rector was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Rector and graduated from 
the Ionia high school.  He was a baker in Ionia for a number of years, 
eventually going with the Michigan conservation department.  He has been a 
resident of Miami for a number of years.

Surviving him are his wife, and a sister, Miss Lillian Rector, both of Miami.
