Wave, Thurs. Oct. 19, 1978 FREEPORT- Robert P. Redburn, 78, of 190 Cherry St., Freeport, died Friday morning at St. Mary's hospital in Grand Rapids where he was a patient for one day following an extended illness. He was born in Perkins, Oklahoma Dec. 12, 1899, the son of Arthur and Rosa Parker Redburn. Mr. Redburn moved from Oklahoma to Traverse City and then to Freeport in 1962, where he owned and operated a barbershop until retiring in 1969. He was a member of the Freeport lodge 541 F&AM and the Freeport Businessmen's Association. Survivors include his wife, Harriet; two sons Randall of Freeport and Daniel of Phoenix, Arizona; three daughters, Mrs. Susan Fuller of Hastings, Mrs. Cindy Stern of Scottsdale, Arizona; one brother, James of Sun City, Arizona; three sisters, Mrs. May Leatherman of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Mrs. Vera Zongila of Chicago, Illinois; Mrs. Berniece Cass of Lapeer and three grandchildren. Services are Sunday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Harold Price officiating at the Pickens- Koops funeral chapel in Lake Odessa. Burial is in Freeport cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home Saturday 7-9 p.m..
