Excerpts from Grand Rapids Obituary

DENNIS A. REDDER
Died Wednesday August 18, 2021-age 78 of Belding, formerly of Manistee, 
Allendale,and Hudsonville. 
Born October 1, 1942 in Jamestown township. 
The son of Henrietta (Teune) & Harvey Reeder Sr.
Graduated 1960 from Hudsonville High School.
Dennis married his best friend  Mary Ann Feikema, on Oct. 18, 1965, in 
Hudsonville, enjoying 50 years together and raising two children.
Served in Michigan National Guards & retired as service manger from Midwest 
Vibro in Grandville in 2005.
An avid sports fan, especially the Spartans & Detroit Tigers.
They moved to Belding in 2015, he & his buddy Stan had the titles of Head of 
Security at The Barn at Adams Acres.
Preceded in death by his parents; his wife Mary Ann Redder on July 31, 2015;a 
brother, Harvey Jr.
Survived by his children, Dana & Bob Adams of Belding, and Dirk Redder of 
Holland; granddaughters Shelby & Todd Dougherty, Paige &Tyler Hage, Taryn & Ryan 
Shields, Phaedra Adams and Hannah Adams; four great-grandsons, Braxton, Grayson, 
Brody and Connor; his sister & brothers, Sandy & Jim Ver Strate, Rev. Ronald & 
Frances Redder and Darl & Diane Redder; siblings in-law & dear friends, nieces & 
nephews.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. Monday Aug. 23, 2021 at The barn at Adams Acres, 10655 
Belding Road,(M-44).
Burial will take place privately on Tuesday at Floral View Memorial Gardens in 
Grandville.
Rev. Roger Tahtinen, Pastor of Smyrna Bible Church will officiate Tuesday at 5 
p.m. at The Barn at Adams Acres with luncheon following.
