He was preceded in death by wife and teenage sweetheart, Arieta (Dolly) whom he happily married June 11, 1949. They are now finally together again.He is also preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Neva Reddin. Bob was a US Navy veteran. He served on the Sub-Tender USS Bushnell and was stationed in Hawaii. He had fun attending Navy reunions and talking to others who served on the Bushnell. He enjoyed traveling. Bob and Arleta took a 50th Wedding anniversary trip to Alaska for three months and then drove through canada taking their pickup camper.They liked traveling through the four corners area with their motor home and camping on Navajo reservations. They traveled throughout England and Germany and took many trips around the United States. Bob was a history enthusiast and enjoyed collecting phonographs, lanterns, clocks and telephones. He was one of the founding members of the Michigan Antique Phonograph Society. Looking for more treasures for his collections at antiques markets and shows, was one of Bob's favorite things to do. He liked shows both in Michigan and Florida, often getting up as early a 4 a.m. to attend. Bob is survived by his children,Pamela Reddin Luttig and Kenneth Robert Reddin both of whom will miss him very much. He leaves three grandchildren behind: Rayn (Shari) Reddin; Brian (Jessica) Reddin; and Amber (Tony) Luttig-Guonodono. He had six great-grandchildren; Drew, Cory, and Riley Mae Reddin; Alexandria and Andromeda Bounodono; and Joshua Reddin. All of them really loved their "great Grandpa". He is also survived by his siblings, Retha Davis and Lyle Reddin and his antiquing friend, Gary Lyon. Bob's passing is a sad loss to all of his family and many friends but he is now with the Love of his Life, his wife Aeleta. He will be interred beside Arleta in the North Eagle cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later announced date at the Portland Methodist Church.
