Mrs. Anna C. Redemsky, 71, of 612 North Jefferson street died Wednesday 
afternoon at 4:30 at the Ionia County Memorial hospital following a lengthy 
illness.

She was born in Germany, January 20, 1884, and with her family moved to Ionia 
at the age of four years and has been a resident here for 67 years.

Mrs. Redemsky attended St. John’s Lutheran school and August 20, 1904 was 
married to William Redemsky.  She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran church.

Surviving besides her husband, William, are one son, Louis, of East Lansing, 
one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Stevenson of Ionia, four granddaughters and four great-
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Phelps funeral 
chapel with the Rev. George Neiman and the Rev. Eric Cash officiating.  
Interment will be at Highland Park cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral 
chapel Friday evening from 7 to 9 o’clock to receive friends.
