Dec. 17, 1918 LUCIEN REDFIELD DEAD Well Known Around Portland as a Peddler; Had Lived in Eagle of Late. Lucien M. Redfield died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fank Kossal, in Eagle, Sunday morning. He was for years a resident of Portland, residing on the north hill. Prior to going to Eagle he was a peddler and quite successful. He was born at Springfield, Vt., in 1841 and married Lucy Hopkins in 1872. There were five children, the only one surviving being Mrs. Kossal, who has tenderly cared for her father during the last five years. For the last two months Mr. Redfield had been confined to his bed with heart trouble and the infirmities of age. Funeral services will be held at the house Tuesday morning at 10. Burial in Portland.
