Mrs. Eda Reece, 86, died Thursday afternoon at the Dykhouse Convalescent Home.  

Mrs. Reece was born June 21, 1869, in Orange township and has lived her entire 
life in the Ionia vicinity.  She was a member of the First Baptist church.

Survivors are two sons, Ed and Otis Carr of Flint, two daughters, Emma McDonald 
of Atlantic City, N.J. and Mrs. Dora Lavey of Flint, 17 grandchildren and 
several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 11 o’clock at the Myers funeral 
home.  The Rev. W. W. Pixley will officiate.  Interment will be in the family 
lot at Highland Park cemetery.
