Portland Review – Thursday, 10 September 1959
Howard Lee Reed, 10, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo B. Reed of Portland, passed away 
Friday at University Hospital, Ann Arbor of leukemia.  Surviving in addition 
to the parents are three brothers, Wallace of Mason, Allen of Leslie and 
William of Portland; and a grandmother, Mrs. Del Reed of Portland.  Funeral 
services were held Tuesday morning at Neller Funeral Home, the Rev. Wm. G. 
Richards officiating, and burial was in Portland cemetery.  Bearers were 
Richard Sines, William Sines, Jack Sines and Maurice Hummell.
