Virginia Jean Reed, of Lyons, age 81, passed away on Friday, Oct. 9, 2009.

She was born on Nov. 25, 1927 in Ionia the daughter of Harry and Caroline Wray.

Virginia enjoyed doll and knick knack collecting, and traveling. Her greatest 
love was for her family, especially the grandchildren. 

Surviving are her husband, Richard “Dick” Reed; sons Danny Reed, Dale 
(Patricia) Reed, Michael (LuAnn) Reed and Willard Reed; grandchildren; brothers 
Edward (Edna) Wray, Kenneth Wray and William (Marian) Wray.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service will take place at Lyons Township Cemetery in the spring of 
2010. There will be no funeral home visitation. Arrangements are entrusted to 
the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Ionia Chapel. Online condolences may be made
