MRS. LULU MAE REED
Lake Odessa - Mrs. Lula Mae Reed, 82, of 325 East main, Ionia died Saturday at
Belding Christian nursing home where she had been a patient for on year.

She was born September 10, 1894 in Hickory corners, the daughter of Lewis and Alta 
Abbott Flint.

Mrs. Reed attended Hickory corners school and married Ray Reed in October, 1920, in 
Ionia. He preceded her in death in December 1965.

They moved to lake Odessa in 1932 where she was employed by the Lake Odessa canning
company for many years, retiring in 1965.

Survivors include two son, Lewis of Ionia and Robert of Jackson; one daughter, June
Shotwell of Ionia; one step-daughter, Mrs. Joyce Peevy of Wyoming; 14 grandchildren,
several step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Service are Tuesday at 1 pm from the Pickens-Koops funeral chapel in lake Odessa
with Rev. William Hertel officiating.

Burial is in Lakeside cemetery.
