Sentinel-Std.- Wednesday, April 19, 1950

Edward H. Reed, 89,  of Belding died Tuesday at the home of his son-in-law 
and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Harris, on West M-44 near Belding.

He was born in Gaines township, Kent county, April 20, 1860, and moved in 
Belding fifteen years ago from Ionia.

His wife, the former Loretta A. Weaver, died in 1906.

Surviving are the daughter, Mrs. Harris, of Belding, three grandchildren, 
and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from Ellis funeral home with 
the Rev. H. S. Ellis officiating. Interment will be in River Ridge cemetery.
