THREE RIVERS-  Ivan J. Reed, 72, of 322 S. Cedar, Schoolcraft, died March 14, at 
the River Forest nursing home.

He was born Dec. 14, 1906 in Sunfield, the son of James and Beulah Reed.

he lived in Lake Odessa for many years.

He had a brother, Maynard who preceded him in death in 1916, and a sister, Mrs. 
Melvin (Lois) Fry, who preceded him in death in 1963.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred; three daughters, Leona Fuller of Vicksburg 
and Linda Kaufman and Wendy Sutton, both of Schoolcraft; one son, Leroy Reed of 
Schoolcraft, one stepdaughter, Norma Berry of Three Rivers and two stepsons, 
Kenneth Staffen of Three Rivers and Lyle Staffen of Schoolcraft. 

Further survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Harold (Lozia) Buxton of Ionia, 
Mrs. James (Doris) Reusser of Byron Center and Mrs. Allen (Katherine) Wieczorek 
of Tallahassee, Fla.; one brother, Stanley Reed, of Ionia; 23 grandchildren and 
three great-grandchildren.
