VERSIL REED DIED FRIDAY

Versil A. Reed, 57, of Clarksville, passed away Friday morning at the 
Osteopathic hospital.

He was the son of the late Warren and Elizabeth Reed of Potters Corners.

Mr. Reed was married while employed in Lansing and several years ago moved to 
the late Andy Post farm near Clarksville.

Surviving are his wife Pearl; two daughters, Mrs. Mitchel (June) Conley of 
Portland and Mrs. Miles (Patsy) Nelson Jr. of Clarksville; two brothers, Clayo 
of Vermontville and Milo of Lake Odessa and nine grandchildren. 

Funeral services were held Monday at 2:30 at the Clarksville Bible Church with 
burial in the Saranac cemetery. Rev. Don Mathis officiated.

Mr. Reed was a cousin of Ed Anway.
