Excerpts from Grand Rapids Obituary
VERN H. REED
Died Saturday April 2, 1983-age 81 at Vermontville
Surviving are his wife, Iva; one son Vern II of Hale; two daughters, Mrs.Natalie 
Gaedert and Mrs.Joyce Peterson, both of Vermontville; one sister, Bertha Knapp, 
of Bradenton, FL.; 13 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, at 2 PM at Vermontville Methodist Church.
mr. Reed reposes at Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel, lake Odessa
