          MANY FRIENDS MOURN MRS. RAY REED'S DEATH

                                    -------------

      AFTER LINGERING JUST BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH FOR 

 SEVERAL DAYS SHE PASSED THE HORIZON WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

                                     ------------

   The friends and relatives of Mrs. Rae Shumway Reed after hope upon hope that her
life would be spared, 
sorrowfully watched the youthful spirit depart last Wednesday evening at 8:30.

   A bright, beautiful high school graduate here, president of her class of 1916,
and a happy young mother falls 
a victim of pneumonia following influenza.

   Church, lodges, neighbors, friends and relatives all are in deep sympathy with
the parents and husband of 
this beautiful young girl-wife.
