Ionia Sentinel Standar-Sat. November 29, 1958

                                ORAL T. REED

Oral t. Reed, 68, of Matherton, died at his home Thursday morning.

He had been a resident of Matherton all his life. He was a veteran of World War 
I and was a member of Masonic Lodge 178 of Hubbardston.

Surviving are his wife, Lena; two daughters, Mrs.Ellen Kline of Matherton and 
Mrs.Lillian Gharst of Ionia; a son, Oral Jr., of Matherton; two brothers, 
Wilbert of Hubbardston and Ed of Lansing; a sister, Mrs.Mary Stuart of Ovid and 
11 grandchildren.

The body is at Abbott Funeral Home at Maple Rapids and will be taken home 
Saturday afternoon. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m at the 
Methodist Episcopal Church of Matherton. Burial will be in East Plains Cemetery.
