Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

BILL HERBERT REED

Died Saturday May 16, 2026-age 82 of Clifford Lake.
Born July 23, 1943 in Ionia,MI, son of Ray & Nora (Tafel) Reed.
Bill Married Carol Conrad on August 2, 1980, together they enjoyed almost 46 
years of marriage.
Survived by his wife, Carol; his daughters Kim (Ernie) Hallas, Kory (Todd) 
Higgins, his grandchildren, Joe,Tyler B.Jordan, Tyler T, Jamie & Aaron;  great-
grandchildren; sister-in-law, Karen Reed, Mary Beth Reed  & Shelva Conrad; many 
nieces & nephews; extended family & friends.
Preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Phil & Tom Reed; his mother & 
father-in-law, Irene & Ben Conrad; and brother-in-law Ron Conrad.
Bill was a dedicated fan of U of M & NFL Sunday Football.
He enjoyed golfing, playing Euchre & many pets in his life.
He was meticulous when it come to his cars and himself.
He was a master storyteller & loved deer hunting camp with his brothers and 
father, also his father-in-law.
Bill retired from Electrolux as a supervisor in Greenville after 30 years of 
service.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM Friday, May 22, 2026, at Hurst 
Funeral Home with visitation from 4-7 PM.
Memorial contribution may be made to Cannonsville Critters or Corso Care 
Hospice.
Family would like to give their heartfelt appreciation & thanks to the staff of 
Hathaway Hills Assisted Living Memory Care for the love they gave to Bill and 
Corso Care Hospice
