Portland Review - Sunday, May 30, 2004

Gloria Joan Reed, 71, of Portland passed away May 26, 2004.

She was born on Oct. 31, 1932 and spent her early childhood in Huntington, W. Va. 
Gloria had deep spiritual beliefs and a strong personal relationship with God. She 
loved spending time with her grandchildren and close friends. She enjoyed animals, 
quilting, and working in her flower garden.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy  Mae (Poynter) Reavis; grandson, 
Carson Christopher Reed.

Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Bill of Portland; children, Chris (Lisa) Reed

of Portland, Randy (Diana) Reed of Rockford, and Linda (special friend Theresa 
Driscoll) Reed of Laingsburg; grandchildren,  Conor, Rylee, Baylee, Grace, and Holly

Reed; her cat, Petey.

Graveside services were conducted by Rev. Paul Bailey May 29 at Portland Cemetery. 
Arrangements were handled by the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland. On line
