Ionia Sentinel Standard - Sept. 17, 2011


Judith A. Reeder, 71, of Ionia, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2011 in 
Lansing. She was born Aug. 31, 1940, in Ionia the daughter of Gordon and 
Maurine (Woolcock) Alspaugh. 

Gudith worked at Gilroys in Ionia for many years. She enjoyed her special pets 
along with many adopted pets she cared for and nurtured. She enjoyed tending 
her yard and garden.

Judith is survived by her daughters Lisa Reeder and Karen Kindel, both of 
Ionia; sisters Sharon Bredice of Holland, and Margaret (Dennis) Hybarger of 
Ionia; grandchildren Craig (Krystal) Emmons of Ionia, Kathryn Emmons of Ionia, 
Mackenzie Kindel of Ionia, Kyle Kindel of Ionia and Olivia Perry of Ionia; 
great grandchildren Heaven Devereaux, Alanah Emmons, Wyatt Anes, and Seth Anes; 
and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Susan Reeder; brothers, 
James Slspaugh; grandson Richard Emmons; great grandson, Brennen Emmons; and 
long time friend, Richard White.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 17 at 11 am at Lake Funeral 
Home in Ionia with Pastor Cliff Allen officiating. Interment Tuttle Cemetery.
