Mrs. Helen A. Reeder, 36, of Bushnell township died at the Ionia County 
Memorial hospital Thursday morning, October 25, after a prolonged illness.  She 
was born December 10, 1914, in Toledo, O.  She was a resident of Orange 
township and Portland until the past ten years when she lived in Bushnell 
township, Montcalm county.

She was a member of the East Bushnell Ladies Aid society, the Farm Bureau and 
the Methodist church of Vickeryville.  She married Arthur C. Reeder December 
31, 1930.

Surviving are the husband; four daughters, Joyce of Ionia and Jacqueline, Jean 
and Kathleen at home; two sons, James and John at home; her father, Alfred G. 
Payne of Battle Creek; two brothers, Harold Payne of Battle Creek and Howard 
Payne of Millbury, O.; and an aunt, Mrs. Maude Bough of Lyons, with whom she 
spent her girlhood.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Stebbins funeral 
home at Sheridan.  The Rev. Lewis Herrick will officiate.  Interment will be in 
Tuttle cemetery.
