Mary L. Reeder, 66, of Ionia, passed unexpectedly at her home.  She was born
Dec. 16, 1938, the daughter of John and Mardell Linder Flennery.  Mrs. Reeder
was a longtime resident of Ionia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Larry “Charlie” Flennery.
 She is survived by her children, the Rev. Douglas and Robin Reeder of
Painseville, Ohio, Diana and Kevin Wall of Allegan, Debbie and Allen Quick of
Hereford, Ariz., Dawn and Greg Long of Comstock Park; six grandchildren; and
sisters, Ruth and Earl Krum of Stanton, Elizabeth Swift of Sheridan.

A graveside memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery,
Sheridan, with her son, the Rev. Douglas Reeder, officiating.  There will not be
any visitation.  In accordance with the family’s wishes, cremation has already
taken place.  Arrangements are by Simpson Family Funeral Home, Sheridan.
