He had been a resident of this community practically all his life and had worked at barbering a good share of the time since he was a young man. He had been employed in the shops here at different times, but for the past 10 or 12 years had conducted one of his own in the northern section of the business district. About eight years ago he erected the building on Tupper Lake street where his business has since been located. While he has been in failing health for some time back, he has been able to be in his shop most of the time and was down town just a day or two before he died. He is survived by the widow two sons, Carl and Paul in the village and five grandchildren. The funeral will be held from the late home at 2:00 o'clock on Saturday afternoon with the Rev. Samuel S.Cox, pastor of Calvary United Brethren church, officiating. Burial will be made in Lakeside cemetery.
