Lake Odessa Wave - April 5, 1979
          DAISY D. REESE

   LAKE ODESSA --Daisy D. Reese, 76, of Pearl Street, died March 30 at her
residence.   

   She was born in Mason, the daughter of Marshall and Viola Fosburg.

   She attended school in Grand Rapids. In 1920 she married Carl Reese, who preceded
her in death. They 
moved to Ionia in 1937 where they lived for one year before moving to Lake Odessa in
1938.

   Reese worked at the Lake Odessa Canning Co., and the Lake Odessa Produce. She was
a member of the 
Pennock Hospital Guild and the Jollly Dozen.

   Surviving are two sons, Charles of Hastings and Harold of Lake Odessa; two
daughters, Mrs. Richard 
(Lucile) Schray and Mrs. John (Betty) Hynes both of Lake Odessa; 16 grandchildren;
two step grandchildren; 
two great grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren.

   Funeral services were held April 4 at 1:30 p.m. at the Picken-Koops Funeral
Chapel, Lake Odessa. The Rev. 
Timothy Rothfuss officiated and burial was in Lakeside Cemetery.
