Ionia Sentinel-Standard
Funeral services for George Reeves, 40, of South Ionia, were held on Thursday 
afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Myers Funeral Home.  Rev. Paul Stewart officiated 
and burial was in Balcom cemetery.  Pallbearers were James Stanton, James Powers, 
Clarence Parks, Roy Zick, Keith Slater and Harry Emelander.

Those who attended the services from away were Robert Reeves of Detroit, Harry 
Reeves of Plymouth, Mr and Mrs Benjamin Reeves and daughter, Mabel, of Orleans; Mr 
and Mrs Herbert Reeves, Dayton Reeves and Mr and Mrs Fred Walters of Smyrna, Mrs 
Mary Raynor of Belding and Mr and Mrs Don Kuney of Owendale.
