Duane Reger, age 78, passed away April 5, 2014 in Lyons.  He was born October 
20, 1935 in Farwell, Michigan the son of Roy and Dora (Lumbert) Reger.  Duane 
married Margaret Magee in Ionia on February 14, 1964.  He retired from the 
Chrysler Corporation in 1979.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and like to 
play cards. 

Duane is survived by his wife, Margaret Reger of Lyons; daughters, Lisa 
Champlin (Rob Newton) of Lyons, and Shanni (Todd) Kerr of Lyons; sisters, 
Bonnie (Jim) Burch of Midland, and Jean (Bernard) Benchley of Clare; 
grandchildren, Adam and  Megan Champlin, Andy and Andrea Champlin, Killian and 
Jack Kerr; great grandchildren, Caden, Jacob, Oliver, Liam, and Elliana.  He 
was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Dora Reger; two brothers, Chris 
and Don; two sisters Arlene and Mable. 

Memorial Service will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 17 at Lake Funeral 
Home in Ionia.
