Charles S. Reglin aged 72 of Ionia passed away July 1, 2006 in Ionia.  He was 
born February 12, 1934 in Lansing, MI the son of Steven G. and Julia (Roche) 
Reglin.  He graduated from Ionia High School in 1951.  Charlie married Marian 
Williams June 16, 1956 in Ionia Presbyterian Church. This year with their 
family they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Charlie owned and 
operated Reglin Hardware & Furniture in Ionia for many years. He was formerly 
on the City Council and a past member of the Ionia Chamber of Commerce.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife Marian Reglin of Ionia; sons, Dave and 
Patti Reglin of Rockford, Phillip and Kathy Reglin of E. Grand Rapids; 
daughters, Susan Reglin of Ionia, Julie and Jack Zeigler of Ionia; sisters, 
Shirley Horn of Ionia; sister in law, Ruth Possehn; grandchildren, Lance and 
(Jennifer), Blaine and (Rachel), Shelle, Erin, John, Jason, Matt, Amanda, and 
Michelle; great grandchildren, Nolan and Parker; several nieces and nephews.  
He was preceded in death by three brother in laws; Eugene Horn, Armon Leiter 
and Herb Possehn.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday at Shiloh Community Church 
with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. The family will receive friends and 
relatives Thursday 2-4 and 7-8:30 PM at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Anyone 
wishing may make memorial contributions in Charlie’s name to Shiloh Community 
Church or the Humane Society.
