Mr. Reichert had suffered with a heart ailment, and his death was discovered by his son, Clifford. The body was removed to the Fitzjohn funeral home and Coroner Harry Myers of Ionia was called and stated that no inquest was necessary as death was due to natural causes. Mr. Reichert was born in Ionia and had lived in this city for 35 years. His wife died about two years ago. Surviving besides the son are four brothers, Ed. and George of Millbrook, Morris of Flint and Frank of Edmore, and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Decker of Alma. Funeral services were held at the Fitzjohn funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 with Rev. H.S. Ellis as officiating clergyman. Burial was in Otisco cemetery.
