Ionia County News, 12 Jan 1956

Homer J. Reichter, Route 2, Ionia, died at his home Tuesday evening, January 3, 
after a long illness.  He was born in Goldfield, Iowa, August 19, 1882, and was 
the son of Jacob and Mary Reichter.  He was married to Jennie Wood of 
Goldfield, March 3, 1909.  They came to Ionia County in 1913 and have lived in 
the home where he died Tuesday for the past thirty-five years.  He was a member 
of the Ionia County Farm Bureau.

Surviving are his wife, and one daughter, Mary H. Reichter, at home, a sister, 
Mrs. Florence Buerst, of Goldfield, Iowa; and a brother, Asa H. Reichter, of 
Eagle Grove, Iowa.

Rev. J.L. Ward officiated at the funeral service Friday, Jan 6, from LeValley 
Church.  Burial was in Lyons cemetery.
