Ionia Sentinel Standard, 4 Dec 1958

Miss Mary H. Reichter, 46, died Thursday morning at Ionia County Memorial
hospital following a lengthy illness.  She was born at Lyons, June 28, 1912, the
daughter of Homer J. and Jennie Reichter.  She attended Orleans and Loomis
schools and was a graduate of Ionia high school and Central Michigan college at
Mt. Pleasant.  Miss Reichter taught school in Saginaw for three years and was in
her second year teaching at Benedict school at the time of her illness.

Miss Reichter was valedictorian of Ionia high school’s senior class of 1929. 
She was a member of LeValley Methodist church, WSCS and WCTU.  

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Homer Reichter of Ionia.

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at LeValley Methodist church
with the Rev. Lawrence Ward officiating.  Interment will be in Lyons cemetery. 
The body of Miss Reichter will be at her home until Saturday noon when it will
be taken by Stone-Kauffman funeral home to the church.
