Ionia Daily Sentinel, 26 Jun 1913

Mrs. Debora Reid Dead.

As The Weekly Sentinel goes to press at 11 o’clock this morning the death of
Mrs. Debora Reid is announced.  Mrs. Reid was a resident of Keene since 1852 and
one of the first white women to locate in Muskegon.  She came to Ionia city 25
years ago to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Frank C. Miller, 627 West
Main Street, where she died and where in her advancing years she was kindly
cared for.  She will be buried in Pinkney cemetery.
