Ionia County Shoppers Guide, 1 Oct 2005

Iris C. Reid, age 84, of Lake Odessa, was taken by her Lord on Thursday 
morning, September 22, 2005.  Iris is survived by her children:  Gary and Ruth 
“Pude” Stair of Lake Odessa, Vicki and Jim Hurst of Alaska, and Carol and David 
Melton of Arizona; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great 
grandsons; and her faithful companion, Penny.  Funeral services were held 
Monday, Sept. 26 with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.  The family has suggested 
that memorial contributions may be made to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Jackson-
Mutschler VFW Post #4461.
