Ionia County News – Thursday, 11 January 1934

Mrs. Alice Reimer passed away at her home in Palo last Saturday evening at the 
age of 77 years.  She had been in poor health for some time but had only been 
confined to her bed a few weeks.  Funeral services conducted by Rev. J. B. 
McGinnis of Mears, Mich., were held from the M. E. Church at two o’clock 
Tuesday afternoon.  Among those from out of town who attended the service were 
Mr. and Mrs. Dick Watson and daughter from Ohio and Mr. and Mrs. Harry 
Simmons, of Mt. Pleasant; Mr. and Mrs. E. Reimer and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Reimer 
of Grand Rapids and Mr. and Mrs. Rob Chapman of Fenwick.
