He came to Palo with his parents when he was a three-year-old child and has spent the remainder of his life in the Palo neighborhood. He worked as a painter and decorator. March 21, 1888, he was united in marriage to Mary A. Graham. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary March 20, 1938. He was a member of the Palo Baptist church all his life and sang in the choir there for 40 years. He was a member of the Gleaners association. Surviving are the wife, Mary; one foster-daughter, Mrs. Grace Graham McLarson, of Chicago; a sister, Mrs. Emma Copeman, of Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, and a brother, Manny Reimer, of Palo. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon, April 20, at 2 p.m. from the home and from the Palo Baptist church at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Peter Bissett will officiate and interment will be held at the Palo cemetery.
