Ionia Daily Sentinel, 5 Dec 1949

Mrs. Mary A. Reimer of Palo, 81, died at her home Sunday, Dec. 4, at 12:45 p.m. 
following an illness of several months.

Born Nov. 8, 1868 in Bloomer township, Montcalm county, she had lived her 
entire life in Palo and vicinity.  She was united in marriage in 1888 to Clark 
Reimer who preceded her in death in 1940.  There is no immediate family.

Mrs. Reimer was one of the oldest members of the Palo Baptist church and also a 
member of the Ancient Order of Gleaners.

Services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m. from the Palo Baptist church.  
Dr. J. Lee Lewis of Ionia will officiate.  Interment will be in the Reimer 
family lot in Palo cemetery.

Surviving are three nieces, Mrs. William McLaren of Palo, Mrs. Martin DeBaps of 
Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Mrs. Warren Klinesmith of Palo, and a nephew, Max 
Gibbs, of Orleans.
