He was born April 8, 1966, the son of William and Mary (Thornton) Reisbig. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider, liked to hunt and fish, and loved his music and guitars. He was a member of ABATE of Michigan, Booze Fighters Motorcycle Club and the N.R.A. He stood up for what he believed in and fought courageously during his failing health. Michael was a compassionate and loving son, devoted husband, father and friend. He was married Aug. 9, 1997 to Dawn Lesky and she survives him. Also surviving are daughters, Amanda and Tara Reisbig; parents, William and Mary Reisbig; brother, Steven (Karen) Reisbig; sister, Michelle (Juaquin) Sanchez; nephews, C.J. Reisbig, Juaquin and Luciano Sanchez; nieces Bethany and Melissa McMahon, Heather and Shanda Reisbig; and Amanda Sanchez; many aunts, uncles, cousins and supportive friends. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Melvin Fox, Pastor officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Thursday at the Cook Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia.
