Born with a fiercely protective spirit & a grin that could light up a room. A proud 2024 graduate of Ionia High School, where he played football. He was a district champion at trap shooting-steady & focused on the game. In school, he was known as problem solving & kind spirit, meeting friends where they were with respect. His pride was his Cummins-Deisel Truck, whether watching stock car races at the track, collecting scrap, or headed out at dawn for the huge buck. Dalton was well known at the Ionia Bowling Alley as a Big Wheel, also worked for C&L Construction. Survived by his parents, Phil & Terrina, brothers,Braedon, Brock & Evan, grandmother, Cathy (Tom) Amey, grandfathers,Dan(Teresa)Wedley, Keith (Rose) Carr, nephew Lucas,Aunts & Uncles & many friends. Services will be held at Shiloh Community Church, 8197 Heth St.Orleans,MI on Saturday, June 28th at 1:00 PM with Pastor Mason Corwin officiating. Interment to follow at Woodard Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00-1:00 on Saturday prior to the service a the church. Luncheon to follow at Shiloh Church. In honor to Dalton, memorial contributions may be made to Ionia Bulldogs Trap Team.
