Patricia Ann Reister, 75, of Manistee, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at Munson 
Medical Center in Traverse City.

She was born March 20, 1937, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of the late Maurice 
and Frances (Bernard) Ward. She graduated from Ionia High School in the class 
of 1955. She married Ronald Reister on Jan. 17, 1955, in Ionia. She was 
employed as a clerk for 19 years with the United States Postal Service at the 
Irons Post Office. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Stuart, Fla.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, all types of racing and spending time with her 
family.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Ronald Reister of Manistee; daughter, 
Ronda (Bill) Conners of Cedar Springs; two sons, Michael Reister of Ludington 
and Jon (Reca) Reister of Cadillac, seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Luke) 
Patterson, Kristen Reister, Courtney, Patrick and Brendan Conners, Billy 
Conners and Elizabeth (Brian) Pietrzyk; four great-grandchildren; and brother, 
Maurice (Jean) Ward. Numerous aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, nephews and good 
friends also survive. 

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on 
Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Manistee, with Pastor 
Dennis Rahn officiating. 

Memorial contributions in Patricia's name may be directed to Trinity Lutheran 
Church or the Munson Manor Hospitality House, 1220 Munson Campus Drive, 
Traverse City.
