Ionia Sentinel Standard - December 21, 1960

                               ANTHONY O. REITZ

Anthony O.Reitz, 73, Keene township farmer, died at his home Monday after a year 
of illness.

A native of Indiana, Mr.Reitz came to the Keene area 39 years ago. He was a 
farmer and orchardist.

He was a veteran of World War I, a member of the Lowell American Legion, the 
St.Marys Church of Miriam; the Holy Name Society, the Ionia Knights of Columbus 
and a past member of the Wilkinson district rural school board of Keene.

Surviving are his wife, Mabel, two daughters, Virginia Reitz of Miriam and 
Mrs.Howard Scheid of Belding route two; two sons, a sister and four 
brothers.There are five grandchildren.

Funeral services are to be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St.Mary's Church.
