The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, May 26, 1958
Mrs. Emma Angela Renucci, 70, of 540 State street died Saturday at 5 p.m. at 
Ionia County Memorial hospital where she had been a patient since April 20.  
She was born March 9, 1888 in Barga, Italy, the daughter of Laurence and Maria 
(Sichi) Gonnella.  April 12, 1910 she was married to Pietro Renucci in Barga, 
Italy.  In 1912 they came to this country.  They have lived at the residence 
on State street for 46 years.  Mrs. Renucci was a member of SS Peter and Paul 
church.

Surviving are her husband Pietro; two sons, Edward and Manuel of Ionia; one 
daughter, Virginia Renucci of Detroit; 12 grandchildren; four brothers, Peter 
Gonnella of Ionia, and three who live in Italy, and three sisters, one in 
Glasgow, Scotland and two in Italy.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul church 
with interment at Mt. Olivet cemetery.  Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 8:15 
p.m. at Myers funeral home.
