He was born the son of John and Catherine Repik on Nov. 1, 1919, in Ionia. He graduated from the SS. Peter and Paul Academy in 1939. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He married the former Donna Condon on Sept. 21, 1946. He worked for over 36 years at Gen Corp in Ionia. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ionia, a member of the Knights of Columbus, a member of the VFW in Sheridan and a trustee of Easton Township for several years. Surviving are: his wife, Donna; one son, Tom (Sue) Repik, of Lowell; five daughters, Karen (Butch) Perry, of Ionia, Marcia (Rick) Kilduff, of Stanton, Liane (Paul) Wood, of Lyons, Carol (John) Hummel of Ionia and Connie Hoppough of Ionia; 17 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother, John (Joyce) Repik, of Ionia. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one grandson and one brother. Mass of the Christian Burial will be offered 11 a.m. Friday from SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia, with Fr. Melvin Fox as presider. The organist will be Mary Cusack. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visiting hours are 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. tonight and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday with a Rosary Service at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Rich Street Chapel of Cook Funeral Home in Ionia. Memorial contributions can be made to the SS. Peter and Paul Memorial Fund or the American Heart Association in care of Cook Funeral Home.
