Joyce Carmen Repik, 92, of Ionia passed away Dec. 17, 2013, in Greencastle, 
Ind.  She was born July 12, 1921, in Ionia, Mich., the daughter of Charles and 
Mamie (Trovinger) Johnson.  Joyce graduated from Ionia High School in 1939.  
She was married to John J. Repik for 41 years until his passing in 2009.

Joyce is survived by her son Roy (Betty) Catt of Bainbridge, Ind.; brother, 
Frank Johnson of Orleans, Mich.; stepson, John (Delores) Repik of Albuquerque, 
N.M., and stepdaughter, Kathryn Repik of Sheridan, Mich. She has seven 
grandchildren and step-grandchildren and two great grandchildren and many 
nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lyle, Clair, Dale and Max 
Johnson; sister, Charlene Marod; and stepson Michael Repik.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 11 a.m. at SS Peter and Paul 
Catholic Church in Ionia.  The family will receive friends and relatives one 
hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to 
make a memorial contribution can do so to the SS Peter and Paul School 
Foundation.  Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.
