Repik, Sr., 71, of 1161 Yeomans street died Monday evening at 9:40 at the Ionia County Memorial hospital where he had been a patient there for eight days. Born in Czechoslovakia, June 16, 1885, he was married in 1910 to Katherine Bracinik in Czechoslovakia and they came to the United States a short time later and resided for three years in Vancouver, Wash. later Mr. and Mrs. Repik moved to Grand Ledge where they lived for three years prior to coming to Ionia in 1918. Mrs. Repik died April 19, 1947. Mr. Repik was employed at the Ypsilanti Reed Furniture Co. and the Ionia Mfg. Co. until his retirement in 1949. He was remarried in 1949 to Rose Rammacher. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and Western Bohemian Fraternal association. Surviving are his wife Rose; three sons, Andrew, John Jr. and Edward, all of Ionia; one sister, Mrs. Josephine Cerney, Ionia; two brothers, Steve of Ionia and Andrew, Czechoslovakia and eight grandchildren. Rosary will be said at the Boynton funeral home Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. and funeral services will be conducted at SS. Peter and Paul church Thursday morning at 9 o'clock with a Requiem High Mass.
