November 2, 2024 REPIK Thomas L. Repik, age 72 of Lowell passed away October 25,2024 at his home surrounded by love. He was born on January 22, 1952 to Edward and Donna Repik in Ionia,MI. He attended Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Academy through 8th grade and then Ionia High School where he met his future wife, Sue Ann Kilduff. Upon graduation he entered the workforce and found his way into the electrical trade where he became a journeyman lineman. IT was a job that he loved and was very skilled at. He worked all over the country bringing and restoring power to those who needed it.He made good friends and was a mentor to countless other linemen during his more than 40 years of service in the trade. The one thing he loved more than being a lineman was his family. Though he was never known to be overly affectionate man there was never any question how much he loved his wife and daughters, and later his sons-in-law, and grandsons. we always knew if we ever needed help in any way he would be there. He never got too worked up about anything but had his own way of letting us know when we did something less than impressive in his mind with his famous "what would make you think that was a good idea" quote that he would recite in a low calm voice. The only ones he spoiled more than his daughters were his grandsons! In one of his final acts of love he made sure they both got their own Harley Davison to ride so they could share in their Papa's love of Harley Motorcycles even though mom and dad said No! Tom is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law Kate & Jason Hardy and Kelly & Karl Pendleton. His grandsons Carson & Caiden Hardy. His sisters Karen (Butch) Perry, Marcia(Rick)Kilduff, Liane Wood, Carol(John) Hummel, Connie Repik, and many nieces & nephews. He also left behind two very dear friends who were with him until the end. His special friend Maggie Balice, and his best friend Matthew (Ernie) Gould. Tom was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Sue Ann Repik, his infant son Jason Repik, his parents Edward and Donna Repik and brother Terry Repik. Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Tom's life at his home at a later date.
