Dec. 11. 1918 DEATH CLAIMS LILLIAN REUSCH The wholly unexpected news was wired to Ionia shortly after 8:00 o’clock this morning, that Miss Lillian Reusch had just passed away in hospital in Grand Rapids, whence the report came on Tuesday that the patient was apparently better. Miss Reusch returned home from the hospital some three weeks ago, but found it necessary to return. Deceased was a very admirable lady, who had spent her entire lifetime in South Ionia, where she was born, and in Ionia city. For nearly twenty years she has been bookkeeper for the Marshall-Wright Lumber Co. Of her immediate family only two brothers survive; Rev. Moses H. Reusch of Jackson, Michigan, and Fred Reusch of Petoskey. Her very congenial companionship will be greatly missed by a wide circle of friends. The remains will be brought to Ionia for interment in the family lot in Highland Park cemetery, but the date and arrangements are not yet perfected. Ionia Daily Standard – Thurs.
