Daily Standard - July 9, 1909

Elias Reusch died last night, at his home in Fenwick, after an illness of 
several weeks. He was 69 years old and leaves a wife and three children; Fred, 
of Petoskey; Rev. Moses, Jr., of Iowa, and Miss Lillian of this city. Jas. 
Straub of this city was a step-son. Mr. Reusch was for several years a 
resident of Ionia, being at one time in the grocery trade here at the Lauster 
stand. He went to Fenwick several years ago, where he had a general store. He 
was a widely known and highly respected. Funeral announcement tomorrow.
